INKMASTERS POULTON @ DIST UNDER 10 PRIMARY 7-A-SIDE LEAGUE
DIV 1A
Kirkham extended their lead at the top of the table by taking all 6 points at Fleetwood Town last Saturday. Strikes by Liam Bradley and William Gargett was enough for the visitors to earn a 2-0 A game victory and the B contest was a hard fought tussle as well. However, Kirkham just edged it by a 4-3 scoreline with goals from Sean Byrne (2), Chris Bridges and Joshua Butcher. Town’s replies came from Tyler Saunderson, Joseph Hall and Stephen Naylor.
Town now drop to 4th place whilst YMCA and BJFF remain joint 2nd after sharing the points against each other. In the A game goals from Jackson Lever and Louis Ingham gave BJ a 2-0 interval lead but YMCA came storming back in the 2nd half to clinch a 3-2 victory, Nathan Wood bagging a pair, Alex price scoring the other. BJ led again at the interval in the B game. A 2nd half strike by Cian Menzies put YMCA back on level terms before BJ netted twice more to secure a 3-1 victory. Matthew West, Alex Gibbons and Will Major were their marksmen.
Thornton, Clifton Rangers, Foxhall and Poulton Youth are all on equal points in joint 5th. Thornton came away from Lytham Juniors with all six points. They won the A game comfortably as a hat trick by Josh Sackfield and a pair from Will Cross helped them to a 6-0 win, Alex Ingle also on target. Although Lytham fared much better in the B game Thornton came on top again with a 4-2 victory, Louis Talarczyk scoring twice, Ciaran Kimmance and an own goal completing the scoring. Lytham’s replies came from Iain Fox and Will carter.
Foxhall took an excellent 4 points at Clifton Rangers. The A game was a tense affair and with neither team able to make a breakthrough it ended goalless. The B game was just as close but Foxhall eventually emerged winners, a double strike by Nathan Tolley helping them to a narrow 2-1 win, Jacob Wharrie on target for Rangers.
Blackpool Rangers Dynamos and Poulton Youth share the points in their meeting with a win apiece. After goals by Timothy Phillips and Thomas Booker had earned Poulton a 2-0 A game victory Dynamos bounced back in the B contest to notch up a 4-0 win. Jack Galloway bagged a hat trick with Jack Clarke also on target.
DIV 1 B
St Annes FC and AFC Blackpool now share top spot in Div 1B. AFC even though both had to settle for just four of the six points at stake. AFC were held to a 2-2 draw in the A game by a spirited Layton Juniors, Thomas O’Neil bagging both goals for the home side, Jake Dennehey and William England on target for the visitors. The B game though was totally dominated by AFC as they delivered a crushing 11-0 defeat, Kevin McGow leading the way with five of their goals. Elliott Wright weighed-in with a hat trick with Sean Warrington, Joe Kay and Luke Holding all on target also.
Meanwhile St Annes were also being held to a 2-2 A game draw at Blackpool Rangers Tangerines, Adam Cosgrove notching both goals for the home side as did James Ludlam for this visitors. St Annes proved far too strong in the B game though and five goals by Noah Fluss-Tramantano was the feature of their 9-1 rout. Matthew Sheridan and Matthew Lumby shared the other goals with two apiece, Jacob Barrow claiming the Tangerines’ consolation.
Previous joint leaders FC Rangers could only manage a share of the points in two enthralling contests against battling South Shore and now drop down to 3rd. A Jamie Jackson hat trick helped Rangers to edge the A game 3-2, Jake Summers and Tyler Davison both on target for Shore. In the B game though, Shore emerged narrow 1-0 winners, a Cameron Gourley strike clinching victory.
Shore are in joint 4th spot with Poulton Town who came away from Fleetwood Gym with an excellent four points. A hat trick from Rowan Stubbs helped them to a comfortable 4-0 A game win, Theo Loannou also on target. The B game was a much closer affair which finished all square at 1-1, Thomas Elliott netting for Gym and Joshua Ainsworth for the visitors.
Spirit of Youth moved up to 6th place after sharing the spoils at Warton Typhoons. The home side edged the A game 1-0, Oliver Seers netting the decisive goal but Spirit claimed a 3-0 victory in the B game. Ben Khan (2) and Molly McKenna were their scorers.
