The Poulton and District league as a result of a recent rule change by the majority of the member clubs in our league now only publish scores of no higher than 9 goal unless both teams score more than 9, this does not effect the league positions as we do no acknowledge goal difference. So if you see you teams result and it is capped at nine goals, thats the reason. In time we hope that this will encourage young children to stay in the game longer as pressure put on children in teams that get beat heavily leave the game early. We at the Poulton and District League are committed to keeping as many young Children playing football as possible.
